Simulation uses the standard Brettel/Viénot dichromacy matrices (a close approximation). Prevalence: deuteranomaly+deuteranopia ≈ 6% of men, protan ≈ 2%, tritan ≈ 0.01%, full monochromacy ≈ 0.003%. Design tip: never encode meaning by red/green hue alone — add icons, labels or brightness contrast.
